This grey RJ45 boot is a slide-on, snag-resistant strain relief boot for RJ45 / 8P8C modular plugs. It is used on Cat5e and Cat6 patch cables to protect the plug latch, provide cable strain relief and give finished patch leads a neat appearance. The boot is suitable for indoor network and data cabling applications, including LAN installations, patch panels, network cabinets, office cabling and structured cabling work. Slide the boot onto the cable before crimping the RJ45 plug.
