This 8 fibre OM2 HDD GYFTY optical fibre cable is a loose tube, all-dielectric dry core cable for fibre infrastructure supply. The cable uses an HDPE sheath, FRP strength member, water blocking yarn and water blocking tape, with fibre, jelly, loose tube and ripcord components. Reviewed technical data lists OM2-D fibre characteristics including 50±2.5μm core diameter, 125±2μm cladding diameter, attenuation values of ≤3.0dB/km at 850nm and ≤1.0dB/km at 1300nm, and overfilled launch bandwidth of ≥200 MHz · km at 850nm and ≥400 MHz · km at 1300nm. The cable is sold per 100m.
