4 Fibre OM2 HDD is a 4-fibre OM2 optical fibre cable in a GYFTY loose tube, all-dielectric dry core construction. It uses an HDPE sheath, FRP strength member, water blocking yarn, water blocking tape and ripcord. The cable is specified with OM2-D optical characteristics, including attenuation values at 850nm and 1300nm, macro bending loss at 1300nm, and overfilled launch bandwidth values. Mechanical test information includes tensile, crush and water penetration performance according to IEC60794 test methods. Supplied as a variable product per 100m, this cable is suited to project-based fibre duct ordering where installers need the required run length confirmed before purchase.
