The 12 Fibre OM4 HDD is a GYFTY loose tube optical fibre cable for ducted multimode fibre installations. It uses OM4 fibre with a 50±2.5μm core and 125±2μm cladding, with an HDPE sheath, FRP strength member, water blocking yarn and water blocking tape. The cable construction is all-dielectric with a dry core design and loose tube format. The reviewed 4-24 fibre construction row lists an approximate cable diameter of 8.6 mm and approximate cable weight of 55 kg/km. Supplied per 100m, this cable is suited to project-based fibre runs where installers need OM4 multimode fibre in a heavy-duty duct cable format.
