The RJ45 Boot Purple is a slide-on, snag-resistant strain relief boot for RJ45 / 8P8C modular plugs. It is used on Cat5e and Cat6 Ethernet patch cables to help protect the plug latch and provide cable strain relief. The boot is intended for indoor network and data cabling applications, including LAN installations, patch panels, network cabinets, office cabling and structured cabling work. Slide the boot onto the cable before crimping the RJ45 plug.
